Singer, Eric describes, "We just take all our influences which are everything from classic rock and blues to grind core.........it's a mixture of what we grew up with." -Guitarist Nick continues-"No fashion, no gimmicks, no fancy haircuts.....just honest music. After 2 independently released e.ps, The Destro released it's debut album May 15, 2007 through IRONCLAD /METALBLADE RECORDS. In December of 2007 the band gained even more exposure with the airing of their video for "Beast Burden" on MTV2's HEADBANGER'S BALL. The band was then further rewarded with slots playing on the same bill as OZZY and METALLICA on 2008's OZZFEST and a date on this year's MAYHEM FESTIVAL playing alongside bands like SLIPKNOT and MACHINE HEAD. With great shows alongside metal's elite and tons more touring that lay ahead, THE DESTRO will not be ignored and fight to join them in their ranks amongst metal's best.
